I checked my email and saw an email saying I had been mentioned in a post on a thread titled one thing but when I clicked the link it sent me to a completely different thread that I was tagged in. (But, the email was correct, as I had been tagged by the person in the thread it was suggesting, just that the button taking me to the thread sent me to another one I had also been tagged in). @MNHQ

@LilyMumsnet Just done so, my email address starts with an R and is a googlemail address.

I’ve had similar to this for ages - I get an email saying I'm mentioned but when I click on the link it’s to a thread I haven’t even posted on or watched, just a random thread. So I ignore them now.
