getting page not found when searching for old threads

Thread titles and truncated posts but when I click on them I get "Damn ,can't find....

Is it just me ?

sonia ,having searched again looking at all forums it's only the Legal forum where the can't find message arises .
I can read found threads in other sections like femininsm ,AIBU etc .But not legal .

It has been happening to me too. Safari, on an ipad2.

Exactly as in the OP, I click on some preview posts in Advanced Search, and get this screen.

what I find odd ( and I'm not sure if MN have picked this up ) is that it's only the Lefal forum where I get the error message ,other forums return searches fine .

You can see what's happening at the top if you look at the URL. Sometimes the search app adds an extra /Talk and sometimes it deletes the one which is needed.

This used to happen on a lot of sections (I think it's related to when they renamed some of the sections to have shorter URLs) so maybe they just missed the Legal section when fixing it.

Anyway as a temporary fix you can just edit the URL yourself, deleting or adding the neccessary /Talk in the correct place.

oh dear ,oh dear .It's not all the posts in Legal just the ones that I'm particularly interested in and concern a particular issue with an executrix .
Which makes me think MN have been asked to take them down .

Try just using a search engine for the thread and add ' Mumsnet' at the end.
MN search function never works properly.

Just discovered - it’s not just my tablet that’s the problem. I tried a different search on my tablet, worked ok. But I tried the same S&B search on my IPhone, it didn’t work, screenshot attached.
