Please for the love of my rapidly diminishing sanity can you get your tecs to look into this , it was all over the place late last night and has just started reappearing again.
There was other anomaly's last night ( mostly error notices ) but the site was going so slow I gave up trying to post about it after 20 mins .

I am using a HP laptop , with Chrome

Same.

Timing out, Gateway errors, apache tomcat.

It's never really gone away - site is always deathly slow in the evening. But it's particularly bad again.

feellikeanalien · 22/10/2019 20:41

Same here. I'm on an Amazon Kindle and keep getting the Apache thing coming up.

TheAnnoyingSatsuma · 22/10/2019 20:43

Same on iPad.

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 22/10/2019 20:45

Am on mac book and I keep getting the apache tomcat message when I try and open threads...

feellikeanalien · 22/10/2019 20:50

Just tried to get back into the thread and it came up again!!

homemadecommunistrussia · 22/10/2019 20:52

Yup Android tablet using chrome.

Binglebong · 22/10/2019 20:56

Another on android and chrome. Is it a denial of service attack? There was some big news on a trans/women's rights issue and I can see certain people wanting to disrupt the discussion (wouldn't be the first mumsnet has been target for this).

feellikeanalien · 22/10/2019 20:56

I've just tried to Google what Apache Tomcat is and I wish I hadn't bothered. I haven't the faintest idea what any of it meansConfused.

HattieBugatti · 22/10/2019 20:57

Same here. I spent 20 minutes composing a (long) response in a thread half an hour ago, and (after half a minute) Apache Tomcat 7.0.69 came up, and the whole bleeping post was lost. Sad

So now, before I click 'post message' I copy my entire post!

What's going on MUMSNET?! Confused

DramaAlpaca · 22/10/2019 20:59

It's all over the place this evening. I'm using Firefox on a Samsung tablet.

HattieBugatti · 22/10/2019 21:01

From googling it, I understand Apache Tomcat is maybe mumsnet's website server?

DoesNotMixWellWithOtherPeople · 22/10/2019 21:03

I’ve had it tonight too. Safari on iPad.

LilyMumsnet · 22/10/2019 21:09

Hi all

Thanks so much for flagging - we're looking into this.

DontCallMeShitley · 22/10/2019 21:13

I have tried to flag this several times tonight, but it won't post at all due to slowness, or gives me the Apache Tomcat page. Also getting other odd errors but the slowness has made me give up a few times tonight, I need to get a life clearly.

I reported an issue some time ago, thread is in here somewhere and the problem really has never gone.

Chrome on laptop.

awishes · 22/10/2019 21:14

Same on Android phone

Smidge001 · 22/10/2019 21:18

Same here, I'm using Huawei p20 android phone and using the website via chrome. been getting it a lot tonight. Am in a hotel so assumed it was just the hotel WiFi but clearly its nothing to do with that given everyone else's comments.

NoraEphronsneck · 22/10/2019 21:21

I am getting it too on Kindle Fire using Silk browser

Crocky · 22/10/2019 21:24

I’m getting it. iPad.

Butterisbest · 22/10/2019 21:30

I'm getting it too, iPad Safari. Not every thread but enough times to be a bit irritating

HappyHarlot · 22/10/2019 21:35

Also keep getting it. Using Chrome on a Macbook via Virgin.

HappyHarlot · 22/10/2019 21:35

It's getting worse.

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 22/10/2019 21:56

Me too, driving me mad it’s relentless.

spicysausageroll · 22/10/2019 22:02

Same, on chrome on my android
