Annoying pop up

I receive the talk round up email every day but when I click on any link to open a thread, a big pop up with "From the WTF to the AIBU " opens and won't close down. It's infuriating, especially as it's a sign up thing for the daily round up that I'm clicking from!!!

You shouldn't be seeing the message after it has been dismissed (for the remainder of your Mumsnet session), but we are still in the early testing stages so we'll take another look.

I'm getting a huge pop up asking me to rotate my device and continue scrolling to see content. Extremely irritating. I have to refresh the page to get rid of it. I cannot stand those huge scroll to continue to view content ads at the best of times.

@LilyMumsnet re my post above, that pop up is rendering the site practically unusable.

It would be fine if there was an obvious way to dismiss the ad but there isn’t!! Please can someone tell me if I am missing something - an x is usually in the top right corner of these things but I can’t see one here. Please MN get rid of it - it is utterly infuriating!

Making the mobile site unusable for me too. The message pops up then won’t allow you either to enter your email address or to scroll up to tap “maybe later”. About 1 in 5 times it allows you to dismiss it but otherwise you have to log out and log back in again. Definitely needs fixing ASAP.

It’s the same for me as nononever said. If I’m not logged in and on my phone as soon as I go to the site I get a full window urging me to sign up for daily emails. Impossible to scroll down to the dismissal button until I refresh. Guaranteed to put of new users, I’d think.
