Name change not working on iPhone app

Hiya. I tried to name change to this exact name earlier on and kept getting a message come up saying it hadn't worked. So I eventually started a thread in AIBU under the name I already had. Well I've just tried to reply and weirdly the name change I was originally told had failed, seems to be my current username now! I'd like to be able to go back to the name I started my thread under (so that I can reply to my own thread as the OP) but it's now not letting me do that either!!! Please help! 🙏🏻

Hi @headorheartwoes - we've spotted this issue too and are looking into it. Thanks for your patience!

For now, you can name change on the mobile site still.

Thanks @TimMumsnet - will give it a whirl!

Trying to name change cannot do either on app on iPhone or on site on fire tablet.

I keep getting told on site that password is wrong I'm pretty sure it's not but I can't reset password either as the link in the reset password email I've been sent only takes me to mn home page.

This is incredibly frustrating!

Hello!

Please do make sure you're logged out prior to requesting a reset. Otherwise, the site assumes you know your password as you're already logged in, so it'll only take you to the homepage!

Thanks for reply all sorted now though
