Site slow and a lot 0 503 errors tonight

Glad you said that. I just came here to post the same. It’s painfully slow and I keep getting time outs.

Do you know, I get really pissed off with the powers that be at MN. This site must be raking in a small fortune in ad revenue but the site has needed a thorough upgrade for an absolute age. There seems to be a distinct lack of tech skill when the not infrequent problems arise and fixes either don’t happen or take an inordinate amount of time. By which time, as soon as one is fixed another arises. IMO, it’s about time a substantial amount of the site income was invested in new technology. But we know it won’t be as they don’t give a shit.

And while I’m on a roll, surely MN can afford proper mods instead of relying on volunteers out of hours? It’s a cheapskate shitshow.

It’s been running slow on and off for a few days but it’s ridiculous tonight!
