There seem to have been a definite spate of threads recently, where OP has been brutally attacked, name-called, and generally abused.
Many posters have reported these threads and/or posts to MN, and asked for comment to be put onthread to bring it back in line.
Please can there be an option for banning a poster from a thread so that the thread can continue for the benefit of the OP, and serial offenders could be in line for a site banning?
So many threads are destroyed and totally derailed by these disruptors, and I know there are questions and suggestions around managing this already.
I just think a blue MN banner stating x poster has been removed from thread to allow thread to continue.
So many threads seem to contain disruptive comments, that these obsessively nasty posters need hand tying if they can't be constructive!
