Hi, I've just reconfigured the server to test itself every minute and restart itself if it doesn't respond within 2 seconds. This means if it starts suffering it may go down for a couple of seconds but shouldn't fall over.

These problems will go away when we move to vBulletin (strong words).

Not sure. Some days yes, some days no. Hmm. We are concentrating on overhauling our product reviews at the moment, so I'm not sure we'll change much in the immediate future.
