How do I search for an OP's other threads?

This, and how do I reply to a post so that the poster's details come up in bold, and, I assume, they get a 'you have been mentioned in a post' message. I don't seem able to do either thing

Go to search - search by keyword - posted by username and type the posters name in the box. In theory this will pull up all the posts but it's glitchy and clicking any links takes me to an 'Oops' page. It hasn't worked properly for ages.

You can put @ before a posters name to tag them
