Tech - Please help re. nickname change

OK am going to show myself up here as a complete techy imbecile. I recently changed my nickname from Sunshinemummy (which had my profile and pics attached) to Albuspercivalwulfricbriansun for the HP launch. I now want to change back, however; whenever I try and log in as Sunshinemummy it tells me that my password is wrong. So this morning I tried to get my password sent to my e-mail address but it just sent me the APWBS name and password. Can you help me get Sunshinemummy back please?

If you go into your profile & delete APWBS one, then put in sunshinemummy & save the changes it should work

Are you sure you spelt it exactly the same as when you made your profile? Have a look at the list of names under your nickname history - your profile will be attached to one of those!

Ok so gone back to my original original name and it's there. Do I have to set it up again if I want to use a different name?

Hi there, No, you can attach a profile to any of your nicknames - you don't have to re-do it. To attach it, change to the nickname you want it on, and then go to our profile mover page
here and select the relevant name from the dropdown list. When you've selected the one you want, click "Change" to store the change.

The reason your profile doesn't follow you around on name changes is that sometimes people change names for reasons of anonymity.
