What's with DH/DC/MIL acronyms at the moment?

I'm going into threads and DH for example will have brackets next to it saying darling husband.

It's quite annoying to read!

Hmm actually it isn't in all threads - bit odd.

I haven’t seen this at all!

It's annoying, especially when someone writes OH as in OH NO! And it says
OH (other half) NO! ....... very confusing when you are tired. I think it's meant to help if you don't know what the acronym means but I don't like it at all.

You can change it in your settings.
