Deleted posts / Suspension warnings - FWR

FWR - don’t groan, I can hear you from here!

There are special mod’ing rules and very keen outside moderators for the FWR forum. Infraction warnings and deletions feel arbitrary, and unfriendly from a user base.

To help us, your user base, it would be useful if there was a ‘deleted post count’ and ‘rolling total’ on our profiles so we’d know where we are. Specially as there is a rolling count over 6? weeks, and we are not generally advised on post deletion.

If this is something you’d consider, what would you need from us to facilitate this?

Thanks as always for your time and attention.

But now back to seriousness... what's HQ's take on posters who openly admit on social media that they're trolling MN?

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 31/08/2019 09:16

Banning someone comes at the end of a long (and hopefully fair) process. We have clear guidelines and we've fairly recently updated them (see previous email)

My personal experience says that this isn't true I'm afraid, as does some of the other posts on this thread.

Hey MN Gin

I’ve been away, but now I’m back haha yes, I realise I’m only important to myself!

I’m sure you’re aware of conversations all over the FWR board re deletion and messages and such.

Do you have any more than was posted here about how users track themselves?

Any more feedback would be useful at this point.

Cheers and hope you appreciate the life defying Gin I procured Grin

That's just it, Bernard, isn't it? When pretty much nobody other than the people who think women need to shut up perceive your process as fair then there is a problem.
