Spam redirects, seemingly also deleting history? Never known a site be so problematic.

Obviously there’s a large bit of dry sarcasm in my post, but MN seems particularly fraught with issues.

I laughed at this, but just incase.... that pop up is not legit, nothing to do with Apple and please don't download it if you see it!!

MN does appear to be plagued by issues.

Hi folks - we're looking into this - apologies as we know how annoying it is.

I’m officially done. The amount of problems on this site is a joke. Security breaches, hacking etc. all the ad revenue and they can’t make a secure site? I have never known any other site have so many issues. I’m not sticking around to have my personal data breached AGAIN as it seems Mumsnet still haven’t learnt anything from all the previous times.

Hey @TastingTheRainbow - we're sorry - that's not what we want to hear & we hope you change your mind and stick with us.

This particular issue with spammy redirects is unfortunately, one that plagues many websites & has no bearing on the security of your data (they just want to bypass our advertising filters).

We appreciate all the information users send to us and we are currently talking to Google's Trust and Safety teams to find out more about how to prevent this awful spam in future.

If you've any particular concerns, do drop us a line at [email protected]
