Can't remove "favourite topics" on Android app

I'm trying to remove a topic from "favourite topics" on the Android app. To add to favourites, you have to click the star next to the topic, which then goes from an outline to a filled-in star.

However once you close and reopen the app, all the stars next to topics become outlines again, i.e. you can't then just click it to remove remove the topic from your favourites.

So I clicked and then unclicked, hoping that would do the trick... But instead I've ended up with a duplicate - the "ask me anything" topic now appears on my "favourites" three times!

Is this another bug in the app?

Could you please try clearing your cache for the Mumsnet app and let us know if this helps? You can do find in your phone settings, rather than your Mumsnet settings. Do let us know if this doesn't work, or you need more help in doing this.

Ok @AnyaMumsnet, I closed the app, cleared the cache and reopened the app - still there unfortunately.

Still having this issue. Any updates @MNHQ @AnyaMumsnet?
