The Stupid Tiny-Massive SKY Ad.......

JeremyVile · 01/08/2007 13:26

This Sky ad on the right is being wierd.

Sometimes comes up really tiny but with the white background taking up loads of space and squishing everything.

I think it must be a fault on it cos when it comes up like that (sometimes its normal)you can barely make out what its for.

Tis very annoying.

Sorry JV - where is it? Which section of talk?

JackieNo · 01/08/2007 16:16

Just happened to me in Education.

JeremyVile · 01/08/2007 16:21

Yup - active convos too.

JeremyVile · 01/08/2007 19:25

Have got used to it now - its sort of cute, reminds me of The Borrowers.

But if you're still looking for it, it was just on active convos page.

I actually assumed it was supposed to be tiny. Kind of 'click on me to find out wtf I say'.

JeremyVile · 01/08/2007 19:32

Ooh, maybe you're right?

southeastastra · 01/08/2007 19:33

southeastastra · 01/08/2007 19:42

oh i just spotted it again! it's like a sideways strip light

OliviaMumsnet · 02/08/2007 11:12

We are looking into this btw.

JeremyVile · 02/08/2007 15:00

Ok, saw it again a little while ago and did one of those screen grab thingies.

I shall email it, if for no other reason than to prove i'm not imagining it!

Just seen the tiny irritating fella.
It should be hunted down and caged.

southeastastra · 03/08/2007 10:55

he's still loose and i think he may have reproduced

JackieNo · 03/08/2007 21:30

I've just had one on active convos where there was just a gap - no ad at all, but it was a link, and if you clicked on it it went to Adviva, or something, to do with online advertising.
