customising talk view

this is really driving me mad now!
I always used the 'classic' view; haven't been MN-ing for a while but am here a bit more at the moment and am being driven demented.

• how can I see all the messages on a single page?
• if I can't do that, how can I at the very least have 100 message per page as standard?
• how can I get active convos to be all small and neat, ie more text-like, not in a grid? (this used to be the difference between classic/new)

Not all of these options will be available to you, unfortunately, as some of these are only available on accounts created before a certain date. However, you can see what's available here.

However, watch this space OP - we've got some exciting developments coming soon which'll hopefully make things a bit easier for you.

I've been here since 2007/2008 so aaaaages.... But that is v helpful and I can now at least see 100 at a time. Your FAQs suggest that I should be able to see more but I can't see how.
