Getting to the end of a long thread

It's easy enough when using the Internet browser on a laptop or tablet (Just click on "last page"), but it takes forever on the app.

I started a thread a couple of days ago and every now and then I check to see if there are any new posts. If there are, I open the thread but then have to scroll and scroll and scroll to reach the end.

There's a little button with an up arrow which whizzes you straight to the top of the page. I expect that would be handy if you wanted to reread the OP. But there's no equivalent button with a down arrow that would take you straight to the last post. I'm sure lots of people would find it really useful and it would get more use than the existing up button.

There is a button that does that.... on my app anyway.

Yes, I use the up and there's up and down arrows in the top right hand corner to take you straight to the end.

You can also bookmark the post so it takes you straight to the post you last read.

Just click the arrows at the top to take you to the end?

1066vegan · 30/07/2019 11:50

I don't have any arrows on the top of the page when I use the app. Don't know if it's my phone or if I'm on a different version of the app.

And I definitely had paragraphs when I wrote my OP but they've disappeared (Just added that because I hate trying ti read long unparagraphed posts).

I can see your paragraphs! Have you tried updating the app?

Blueuggboots · 31/07/2019 08:45

Arrows circled and paragraphs. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@Blueuggboots Thanks for the screenshot. It looks totally different on my phone! I can't see those paragraphs or the arrows that you circled.

@Instagran Thanks for the advice about bookmarking posts. That's really helped.
