Enough already.

I'm fed up to the back teeth of it, and even if I had kids of the right age, I would have been put right off it now anyway.

I'm fed up with it too! Please get rid of it! It's a distraction. I don't know anything about Angry Birds, but it's not even funny, it almost looks like bullying.

TroubleWithNargles · 15/07/2019 23:41

One more angry bird and I swear I'll....

I'm not coming onto mumsnet again until the angry birds are gone.
Please stop the moving adverts. It's really horrible.

TroubleWithNargles · 17/07/2019 00:57

If there is ever anything guaranteed to stop me from buying anything it is incessant annoying adverts for it.

Its so annoying

AnyaMumsnet · 19/07/2019 11:36

Hi there all,

We're really sorry but this is part of a direct campaign, and it doesn't break our ads policy so there's not much we can do at the moment. Flowers

The campaign ends on 4th Aug so it should end then.

ContactLight · 21/07/2019 14:37

The biggest problem is that on my laptop it takes up a third of the top of the screen and the right-hand third as well. The constant moving images are also infuriating and distracting and I find this an issue with all the moving ones.

The Yellow Peril is not there today thank goodness.

Nesssie · 22/07/2019 15:42

Its huge, bright yellow and flying at the screen!
So bloody annoying!

Amen to that. Came looking to see if this was irritating anyone else too!

BrokenWing · 25/07/2019 11:50

Is it still there! I've stopped using the laptop to MN and sticking to the ipad for now which has ad blockers to avoid that one ad.

Just one more sodding day of this "Angry Birds" torment to go... it's back with a vengeance today! If I see that catapulted yellow bird with its beak stuck in the screen on 4th August or beyond, I think I will abandon MN.

And needless to say, I will not be watching the Angry Birds movie!

RebootYourEngine · 03/08/2019 11:53

All adverts are on MN are annoying. If they aren't huge they are constantly flashing on the screen.

Isatis · 03/08/2019 12:24

Is there any way of getting it through to advertisers that this sort of advertising actively puts people off whatever they want to promote?

The campaign ends on 4th Aug so it should end then.

Party time tomorrow then!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 03/08/2019 12:29

The adverts in general are way too intrusive. It's like posting on EasyJet on my phone.

We're sorry the Angry Birds Ad is a pita for some of you - only 1 day until they'll be vanquished.
