Angry Birds ad

Enough already.

I'm fed up to the back teeth of it, and even if I had kids of the right age, I would have been put right off it now anyway.

I'm fed up with it too! Please get rid of it! It's a distraction. I don't know anything about Angry Birds, but it's not even funny, it almost looks like bullying.

One more angry bird and I swear I'll....

I'm not coming onto mumsnet again until the angry birds are gone.
Please stop the moving adverts. It's really horrible.

If there is ever anything guaranteed to stop me from buying anything it is incessant annoying adverts for it.

We're really sorry but this is part of a direct campaign, and it doesn't break our ads policy so there's not much we can do at the moment.

The campaign ends on 4th Aug so it should end then.

The biggest problem is that on my laptop it takes up a third of the top of the screen and the right-hand third as well. The constant moving images are also infuriating and distracting and I find this an issue with all the moving ones.

The Yellow Peril is not there today thank goodness.

Its huge, bright yellow and flying at the screen!
So bloody annoying!

Is it still there! I've stopped using the laptop to MN and sticking to the ipad for now which has ad blockers to avoid that one ad.

Just one more sodding day of this "Angry Birds" torment to go... it's back with a vengeance today! If I see that catapulted yellow bird with its beak stuck in the screen on 4th August or beyond, I think I will abandon MN.

And needless to say, I will not be watching the Angry Birds movie!

All adverts are on MN are annoying. If they aren't huge they are constantly flashing on the screen.

Is there any way of getting it through to advertisers that this sort of advertising actively puts people off whatever they want to promote?

The adverts in general are way too intrusive. It's like posting on EasyJet on my phone.
