Can't get into Mumsnet on Chrome due to GDPR popup

Haven't been able to get into Mumsnet since Sunday since the GDPR pop up appeared. It freezes everything and the 'I accept' button does nothing. I have finally been able to get in through Microsoft Edge. But can you fix it so I can get in through Chrome as normal?

Thanks

me too

ImportantWater · 26/06/2019 08:43

Yeah me too, I am OK using Chrome on an iPad but not on my Samsung mobile.

ImportantWater · 26/06/2019 08:43

Sorry, am not using Chrome on iPad, am using Safari.

That happened to me for a while, very annoying, it won't go away.
To workaround it I opened pop up on one tab and open mumsnet on a second new tab and it doesn't pop up as pop up is already there.

This happens to me too, but strangely only on incognito/private browsing windows.

theworldistoosmall · 26/06/2019 09:08

And me. Works fine on other browsers.
And why does this thing constantly pop up?

Wifeynomore · 26/06/2019 13:36

@MNHQ - do you have any advice?

Just coming on to log this. It’s so frustrating

This is the third thread I've seen (and posted on) that's been started about this issue since Sunday - at least two have been in site stuff. Is there any chance of MNHQ addressing it or at least commenting? I can't use mumsnet on my laptop using Chrome.

plumbago · 27/06/2019 09:12

Me too - haven't been able to use Mumsnet on my laptop with Chrome since Saturday. I can only access it on DH's computer which has Firefox. Mind you, I am saving a great deal of time!

theworldistoosmall · 27/06/2019 09:34

Tried the open up another tab. Doesn't work.
@mnhq Why do we always have to have the pop-up constantly? Other sites manage to work without it popping up constantly.

Hi there all,

Thanks so much for getting in touch about this, and sorry to hear you're all having problems. We have been looking into this over the last few days, and Quantcast are planning to release an update on Monday so hopefully that will help.

theworldistoosmall · 02/07/2019 15:48

Still not working.

ImportantWater · 04/07/2019 09:46

This is still not working for me too

plumbago · 11/07/2019 09:58

This still wasn't working for me on 2 July, but I have just come back from eight days away without internet access and find that all is now well - for the time being, at least...
