No bookmarking

I’m using the main site on my iPad and the bookmarking facility isn’t working. Can this be looked at please?

Yes me too. Had this randomly a few weeks ago and came back after a few minutes, but happening again. Safari iPad iOS 12.2

I'm having the same problem on the laptop, but am still able to bookmark on the mobile site (iphone)

No bookmarking for me on Firefox on a laptop.

However, since setting a bookmark on a thread has no influence on the page on which the thread will open, often several pages adrift from the bookmarked post or on the first page, I'm not sure whether having bookmarks back is much use since they are only non-functional decoration these days.

I’m now finding I can bookmark on some threads but not others. And yes, for weeks now, bookmarks have been jumping back up the thread.

I started complaining months ago, but got bored and didn't pursue it when MN didn't get back to me. Seeing other people have the same problem has revved me up again!

First time it has happened to me. FF on laptop.

Bookmark button there but when I click on it the thread jumps to first page and bookmark is not saved.

Mine hasn't been working for me for days - Edge on desktop and the android app.

It is really annoying and makes long threads impossible to use. When is this going to be sorted??

We're really sorry it's taken so long to get back to you all. It seems this is mostly happening on the desktop site (although on iPad for a minority of you) , is this right?

It'd be really helpful if we could get a screenshot.

I've never used the bookmark facility and I can't see it here, although it would be handy. Where (should!) the option to bookmark be?

Actually, my bookmarking is working ok. I realise it's the threads not changing colour that has been going on for months, not the bookmarking. Sorry MN... Still waiting to hear back on that one though.

Sorry Anya that is beyond my capabilities. As I said though bookmark button is there at bottom of post but when I click on it it goes through the saving.... saved bit but then jumps to page 1 and hasn't saved at all. It means that every time I go to a post I have been watching it takes me to the beginning and I need to scroll forever to find where I read to last.
