We've been doing a bit of housekeeping work to archive old threads and it all went a bit wrong. 
You might have been puzzled to see an increase in deleted threads - and if this wasn't enough, the deletion message alluded to 'a bunfight'
(We'd like to reassure everyone that incidences of bunfightery have not exceeded normal levels).
What we intended to do was to archive threads that no one had searched for, posted on, or visited for aeons. What we actually did was get rid of some threads that were still active. This shouldn't have happened and we're sorry for all the confusion.
Right now, we're in the process of reinstating all the threads, so things should be back to normal before you can say 'bunfight'.
Apologies once again - and we'll make sure that you're all kept in the loop re any future Kondo-ing on the site.
