Discussions of the day vanished

They seem to have disappeared.

Anyone else the same?

It's still missing - MNHQ any ideas please?

My trending and discussions of the day keep changing and disappearing - and have done for the last few days now.

At the moment it's showing but if I click elsewhere on MN it sometimes comes back, but the discussions of the day part is missing - which itself sometimes reappears.

No idea what's going on but between this and the constant Apache Tomcat messages, MN is not very user friendly right now...

Mine has been completely blank for days. IE on laptop.

Thanks so much for getting in touch. You're right, wehave stopped Discussions of the Day but you should be able to see Trending threads in the box they once were. You can read more about it here.

Of course, if you can't see trending either, let us know - we'll investigate.

Thanks @ControversialFerret I was glad of your screenshots as I can't do them but that is exactly what my screen looks like.

I now have a box saying 'Popular Now'.

And it is entirely empty

No - wait - it's ok now. No - it's changed itself to 'Trending Talk' all by itself as I watched...

Mine working now, along with a handy wee 'refresh' doofer so I'm happy
