Changing password

I'm sorry that this is a boring question but I've spent about an hour trying to solve it!
I want to change my username. For this I need my password which I don't know. When I get the change password email I get a link to click on. But this just takes me to the mumsnet homepage.
Where do I go to change the password please?

I said that it was a boring question

It sounds like you're logged in while you're trying to reset your password - is that the case?
