400 Bad Request Error

Abrahamkin · 29/04/2019 18:46

For the last few weeks I've been getting 400 Bad Request errors when trying to access mumsnet on my phone (iphone) using Chrome. The errors normally come on the second click e.g. I can get to active but get error when I click on a post OR I can get to a post but I cannot go to the second page. I have also gotten some other errors but this is the most common.

I am normally not signed it

I have no issues using safari on the same phone.

Hi OP

We're currently investigating this and should have it all sorted soon - so sorry for the inconvenience. Flowers

@LilyMumsnet Has there been any progress?

I've been having the same problem for some weeks: I usually look at MN on an iPad using Safari (and typically I'm not logged in) and similarly I can get to the front page but no further. When I try to click into a thread, I get a 400 Error message, telling me that my browser sent a bad request. Incidentally when one starts typing "400 bad" into Google, it suggests "400 bad request mumsnet" as a completion, so there are clearly quite a few of us out there running the same search!

@LilyMumsnet I'm still getting errors on chrome on my iphone! Has there been any progress?

Hi, vI'm getting this error all the time - is there a fix yet??

Abrahamkin · 11/11/2019 13:31

Apparently not, as I am still getting the error constantly. Makes following mumsnet impossible.

I had this a few weeks ago. Googled the error code and had to clear the cache in the background, it was easily resolved once I had the instructions.
