Adverts for dodgy websites?

I've had this advert appear at least twice tonight. I've googled as thought the dress looked quite nice but the trustpilot reviews are shocking!

Does MN not vet these companies before advertising them? I'd expect better tbh

Actually, I'm wondering if I'm being dense? I'm on the App, iPhone 6S. Are the adverts in the App from MN or as a result of my own search history? Or a combination of both?

These particular adverts will be based on you. That little sideways triangle at the top right-hand side of the ad (yes I know, I'm very technical with this sort of thing...) should help you take a look at your ad choices and adjust. Flowers
