annoying popup on MN...anyone else

where the big ad, is between boden and ebay, i keep getting this VERY ANNOYING alert crap..it's something lika loan, or 'you have won'...anyone else getting this?
is it my pc or is it MN?

It'll be adware (or scumware as it's affectionately known in IT circles).

You'll have installed something which also installed a pop-up programme. Get a free adware removal programme like adaware (www.ad-aware.com) and see if you can find it.

NB one or two programmes which com with adware are bundled in such a way that you have to remove those too if you want to remove the adware. Kazaa is one - there may be others.
