Spam personal messages

I seem to have moved on from the annoying pop ups and now have two messages in my inbox today promising me money - have clicked the report button but wondering if this was happening to others. I really don’t want this to become a feature and want to know how to stop it. Thanks

We did send you a mail - did you receive it?
We can see that other users were messaged, but we banned the culprit right away.

You can block all private messages by going to your inbox settings. That'd currently be the only way to prevent this from happening.

We're always working behind the scenes to develop our anti-spam control but in the meantime, we have to rely on reports to see and ban individual spammers!

Hello, yes that’s fine thank you have seen it now - quick work! I did wonder if connected to the pop up ads as the two seemed to occur at similar times.. and I don’t think I’ve had a spammy pm before in many years, then two came at once! Thanks

Definitely no connection - spammers have always tried their luck via PMing users (unfortunately).

If there's anything else we can do, just give us a shout.
