Could tech please check out the thread in health - calpol for teething prolonged use.

Appreciate that you have already removed 5 threads but the same person soniuk is still posting quite dangerous advice on the above thread.

Anything that you can do?

dangerous or not i can´t comment on but she has said it was her here

Any advice on using more than the recomended dose of calpol is dangerous. The maufacturers do not recomend this, nor do they recomend long term use, unless prescribed by a doctor. This is dangeroud advice.

Also you may want to check out this site: www.unvaccinate.tk I'm all for alternative views on vaccination but this is about calpol- and also mentions mumsnet- may not be the best advert for you. Not sure there's much you can do- but thought you ought to be aware.

yah i understand its dangerous whilst trying to refer the link i was merely not wishing to get involved in the slagging match

Slinky · 11/09/2004 10:36

Goodness me!!!

Just looked at the unvaccinated website - shocked to see Mumsnet as a "link" - assuming permission was sought before adding it??

I really don't think it will do Mumsnet any favours being associated with a site that also favours the drugging of children!!

MistressMary · 11/09/2004 10:38

oh my goodness! Thanks for warning people.

That Calpol site is terrifying - I have never read such a load of irresponsible nonsense. One woman lets her child swig Calpol straight from the bottle and says she looks "cute" doing it. What is wrong with these people?

Hi, just to inform everyone concerned about the way this thread has developed, that it has been reported to the Mumsnet team. HTH
