Or on holiday perhaps?

Or are there problems with AOL again?

She took a week off . No Fruit Shoots for her next week...

DumbledoresGirl · 13/07/2007 18:22

You mean you allowed her to take a week off?

You know, for a few days now I've had a nagging feeling that something's not quite right. I though it was a side-effect of my hay-fever medication, but now I realise it was withdrawal symptoms from MorningPaper's round up.

morningpaper · 14/07/2007 20:10

I AM BACK

we went to North Devon in a caravan park

very nice

now my children seem to have jetlag and won't go to sleep

winestein · 14/07/2007 20:12

Well well well. Now you are back do you think you could just get on with writing what makes all of our Fridays, or would that be too much to ask. Huh? HUH?

(Glad you had a nice hol! May I recommend vodka for the kids )

DumbledoresGirl · 14/07/2007 20:13

That will teach you to jet to foreign parts. Devon indeed!

morningpaper · 14/07/2007 20:14

aw winestein I need YOU to tell me what's been going on

a week without mumsnet! it was baad

winestein · 14/07/2007 20:18

Ay, I bet it brought out a serious case of the sweats, indeed!

I can recommend what not to look at....

The breast and bottle feeding topic at the moment.

Something to do with dogs.

Parent and Toddler Spaces.

Hey, pretty much the same as every week really. You could do a "stock" round-up for future holidays. The same old stuff will be rolled out, for sure

collisionfrances · 14/07/2007 20:20

Yeah but we also learned that Robert Palmer died......................

Kewcumber · 14/07/2007 20:20

do they not have internet in Devon - I'm sure they must have at least one dial up conneciton going into the county. How unreasonable of you not to avail yourself of it to keep us informed of the MN goings on.

morningpaper · 14/07/2007 20:22

No I didn't ask you

That's because I repress all my holiday plans until I am actually in the car driving away from the house, because I am so terrified of the plans going Horribly Wrong and all my garden plants dying from lack of water

Fortunately this did not happen

winestein · 14/07/2007 20:24

PMSL Collision

DumbledoresGirl · 14/07/2007 20:24

Careful Califrau, you don't know what you are dealing with here: apparently Mumsnet Towers allowed her a week off. Now for them to do that, MP must have sent round the heavies and if she can do it to them, she could do it to you too. California is a mere hop away these days....

morningpaper · 14/07/2007 20:26

actually they didn't allow me

I sort of emailed them 10 minutes before I left

I really DO repress holiday Plans

now I really want to

(a) find out what MNers are on facebook becaus eI have joined and
(b) talk about how shit the weather is

winestein · 14/07/2007 20:26

It's got to be a good feeling MP... knowing that everyone missed you.

I logged into my email 5 times yesterday to see if your round-up had arrived. And 3 times today until being forced to search to see if anyone else had suffered serious loss.

Of course, this makes me a very, very, sad and lonely person.

morningpaper · 14/07/2007 20:28

DailyProphet lol

Califrau, that isn't a very sensitive comment to make to those of us stuck in soggy Britain.

Though I have to say, today has been very pleasant.

MumOfSlytherinsMonsters · 14/07/2007 21:01

MP if you search for mumsnet on facebook you will see who has joined. although not all have given their MN names

morningpaper · 14/07/2007 21:09

oh yes I am requesting to join that group

I see
