Flipping threads on android app

Please tell me how. The search function is so crummy on app I can't find the answer myself quickly enough....

Click on the big blue 'plus' button at the bottom of the screen, the top option will be 'flip'

It is very temperamental though, and if you have bookmarked somewhere in the thread previously, it can get very confused!
