If you report the deleted post to us, we'll happily clarify the reason for deletion.

We don't email after every single deletion otherwise we wouldn't have time to do much else!

Yes. It probably be less time consuming to let the poster know that their post has been deleted, and why, than letting multiple reporters know. It also stops people repeating mistakes.
