Highlighting op

How do I highlight all posts by op? I'm pretty sure I had this ability before but it's gone. It's handy for quickly scanning through a thread. Ive checked in "customise" but can't see anything

I can't even find 'customise'. I have, and want to change it, but am completely lost

Ozzy, if you've had it in the past, did you de-register your original account after the last data breach and then re-register as a new account? I've got a funny idea, but I'm not sure if this is correct, that new members don't have any option to highlight the OP's and their own posts.

For newer members, these posts are highlighted by default. They don't have the option to change the colours of said highlights though!

Sorry to resurrect a necro post but mine have stopped being highlighted and can't find anything in the customise link above.

Same here. The original opening post is highlighted, but no subsequent posts by the OP.

I've been searching for a way to do this for ages. It makes long threads so much easier to catch up on when you don't have to read every comment to just get the updates! @mumsnet admin any advice?

same here. I really like the OP highlighting feature but it has disappeared when I use the computer. It is still present when I mumsnet far too much on the ipad.

Newer accounts don't have the ability to customise how OP's posts appear, but we're going to pass the feedback over to our tech team so they can make sure everything is working as it should be.

Just to be clear I am not a new account - have been on Mumsnet for a very long time. But there is a difference between computer and app.

@spongedog If you're using the iPad MN app the only thing that's going to be highlighted of the OP's is their box with their username in it.
