Morning.

As of about 10 minutes ago, every couple of clicks I keep getting redirected to some spammy ‘Congratulations you’ve won!’ page on Facebook? I’m just clicking on the usual MN navigation buttons, nothing weird. My device doesn’t have any viruses.

iPhone 6S
Safari
Mobile version
IOS 12.1.4

I’ve attached screenshots of the of the pages I keep redirecting to. It started on a multiples thread (also pictured).

I am still getting a spam message coming up every time I try to look at Mumsnet. It’s supposedly from Sky telling me I can claim a prize.

GimmeBread · 24/03/2019 18:34

It only seems to happen to me when I click on a link in the MN email summarising the top threads. I'm getting the Sky one.

Sorry but I’m still getting spam messages supposedly from Sky telling me I can claim a prize! If I try to post on any other thread it just pops up and I can’t get rid of it. Is this still happening to anyone else?

Hi there all,

Unfortunately, some fraudulent advertising buyers install malicious code and try to bypass the security systems of websites. They target users using random categories, and constantly change these categories which can make it very hard for security teams to find the source.

At Mumsnet we only work with reputable organisations, but in this case we are dealing with well-organised fraudsters, which makes it extremely hard to identify the root cause.

We appreciate all the information you send to us and we use it to help investigate and test out scenarios in an attempt to solve the problem. We are currently talking to Google's Trust and Safety teams to find out more and we'll continue to do our best to avoid these situations.
