Can't reply to an inbox message

I've received an inbox message and when I type my reply in the box, I press send an a little box appears that the top with mumsnet.com says and a tiny blue box that says 'OK'.

I click OK and nothing happens. I try to send the message again and it's rinse and repeat.

Any ideas?

Using desktop on Chrome.

Any change you can try manually putting the username and title in a new message, rather than replying? Let us know what happens.

For some reason, this happens every now and again. Starting the message as a fresh tends to resolve.
