Fairly new to Mumsnet; one thing I don't understand is name changing to avoid being identified. If you are already using a pseudonym how does changing to another one make a story any less identifying? Genuinely baffled!

Hi OP

As above - using just one name would mean that all of your posts (when pieced together) could paint a vivid picture of your life - making it easier to be identified.

NCing regularly minimises the chances of this.
