Seem to be alot old old threads from years ago being resurrected... why is that

Really annoying to start reading a thread then realise it's really old

OP posts:

You have to train yourself to check date of OP. And to remember that 500 plus post threads don't spring into life in a flash.

We've all btdt and now are battle hardened.

Oh, flibberty - I don't know about that. Post about a dog biting or an unfair inheritance and you're at 500 posts before you can hit 'refresh'

"Seem to be alot old old threads from years ago being resurrected... why is that" - either spammers or trolls posting on old threads for no sane reason.

Funniest one is the carpet fitter from donkey's years ago. It still gets resurrected every now and then - last time was, IIRC, a couple of weeks back - probably resurrected by a spammer, but then you get lots of people giving the OP very earnest advice about how to deal with it .... despite the fact it was (1) years ago and (2) she has long since moved out of that house Grin

Aridane you make a good point.

Hi there, Highonthehill

As mentioned up thread, this can sometimes happen because of spammers. If you think that might be what's happening here, then please do hit report on the thread in question and we can send them on their way to peddle their wares elsewhere.

I LOVE that carpet thread. It’s my favourite zombie thread, closely followed by the jizz on course work thread Grin
