Posie Parker thread not secure

Fairenuff · 31/01/2019 17:25

I had a few threads open at once on my laptop and noticed that the Posie Park in the USA thread was showing as 'not secure' in my url.

I checked the others and they showed 'secure'. I opened a couple of other threads randomly and they showed 'secure'. I closed the Posie one and reopened and it still shows 'not secure'.

Is this something you need to know about?

It’s showing as secure on mine. I’m on iPhone

Fairenuff · 31/01/2019 18:19

Just checked again on mine and it's still showing 'not secure'. Other threads are fine though.

Just found one of the threads I was looking at is "unsecure" too.

Mysterian · 01/02/2019 11:51

This one: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/3496067-Terry-hall-and-childhood-abuse

The Terry Hall thread.

Threads are also coming up with some weird list of errors. A white page with code or something on.

What's happening

GerryblewuptheER · 01/02/2019 11:51

Guess that the same thing as everyone else is saying Blush

BBInGinDrinking · 01/02/2019 11:52

My error message was in Aibu so I think its site wide

itswinetime · 01/02/2019 12:04

My error message was in Aibu and now it's just happened on this thread in chrome so it seems to be site wide on all platforms.

And I'm going to get to finally use this phrase...

'TROLL in the dungeon!!! TROLL in the dungeon!! Thought you ought to know!!!'

So sure it's a headache for you but I'm happy I got to use the saying sort of on context Wink

Hi there everyone,

Thanks for letting us know about this.

Can we double check, is the site URL showing up as 'http' or 'https'?

What we think is going on here is an issue with something like image or ads, rather than the site not being secure - we are investigating further.

Fairenuff · 01/02/2019 14:21

It's now showing as secure and is https but don't know what it was before as I didn't think to look. Will let you know if I see it again.

OP posts:
Mysterian · 01/02/2019 14:21

For me it was https but "unsecure".

Now it's fine, so something has changed. Could well be an ad causing it that is currently not being shown.

Fairenuff · 01/02/2019 14:23

On a side note, 'Trending' has disappeared and it's just DOTD showing at the moment.
