Hiding threads

Using the app on an iPad and wanting to hide all the threads which usually come up at the top eg surveys etc.
I am clicking on the individual threads and hiding them but when I next go on the app they are all back there again. Am I doing something wrong?

Irritatingly I don't think you can hide threads that MN have stickied...

Thanks for getting in touch. We're really sorry, we know it can be inconvenient but you can't hide stickied threads, so that's why these threads keep coming back.
