Ads on iPhone app turn off sound

Hi Mumsnet, I enjoy listening to a radio app and podcast apps on my iPhone while browsing the mumsnet app, however the ads that load into threads turn off my audio it's extremely annoying! I dont think ads are supposed to interfere with content as it's disruptive (pretty sure there are guidelines for this) however I can't see why ALL ads that are displayed would do this. Is this a setting that can be changed? I end up giving up reading mumsnet and going elsewhere.

Just spotted another thread similar to this about Spotify getting switched off by mumsnet app.

I'm using an iPhone 6 and use Overcast, iTunes podcast app and Radioplayer apps where this happens all the time.

Would be great if this can be fixed because ill spend a lot more time reading threads!
