If I hide a thread it is because I don't want to inadvertently read it again.
However this is pointless because they all still show up on Trending and Discussion of the Day and I end up opening the threads and get annoyed that it is something I didn't want to read the first time or have read already.
Wouldn't it be better to enable hiding them completely instead of this half arsed method of doing it? I can't be the only one to be p'd off by it surely?
