Threads showing as having new posts but when I look there are no new posts?

Above says it really.... iPhone app, some (not all) threads showing as having new posts and then when I check there aren't any. Any idea why?

Sorry to hear about this - it sounds rather annoying. Can we check, are you up to date on the app? And how long has this been going on for?

I've just checked and I haven't installed the Nov 3rd update, will do so later, no wi-fi at the mo. But it's strange because it's only been happening a couple of weeks

Seems to have fixed it thanks, should have thought to check for updates before I posted! Will let you know if it happens again
