Are MNHQ editing users old posts to contain ads and links?

I wanted to find what Mumsnetters thought was the cheapest maternity wear. Decide to look through old posts, I'm not looking for fancy, I'm looking for asda vs primark kind of comparison.

I think back then they added links automatically. They tried it again last year or earlier this year and people were not impressed..
