How do I attach an image to a thread or post?

Had an old mumsnet account and I completely forgot my credentials. I for the life of me cannot figure out how to attach a photo to a thread or post. Have tried both on the mobile version and the desktop version. Am I being thick here? Would really appreciate some help.

Is there a waiting period for new members or something? On my old mumsnet account I recall a paperclip icon but it doesn't appear to be there anymore.

I think there is a waiting period for newly registered posters - I don't know if it's a period of time or number of posts - as a protection against the nastier types of trolling.

Ahh that makes sense I also forgot my logins and had to rejoin and can't upload pics of bitey dog 😕

That makes sense I suppose. I would rather not be able to upload a picture for a while than catch an eyeful of somebody's junk or something 😆

I found this - you should be out of quarantine soon:

@ErrolTheDragon Ah that's great news! I read a similar post last year and it said 28 days or something. Don't know if they changed it or I simply misread it but either way that's great. Thank you 😊
