It's on my phone screen almost every thread, it moves and flashes and is obviously a total scam!

I’ve been getting this too. I’m using Safari on an iPad.

Do you have a worm on your phone?
Is it coming up just on MN or on other SM sites?
i'd be doing a virus check tbh.

Only on MN. I don't think there's anything on my phone, it's almost brand new for starters, and it's not appearing on other sites I use.

Oddly, I also had an ad for these horrendous KFC trousers, with the Colonel‘s face right on the crotch!

Does anyone else have the huge banner ad of someone's foot on a tennis ball? I have it on screen around 50% of the time I'm on MN, it's really not nice to look at!

I do understand the site needs ad revenue but some of them are just terrible, and not like you see on other sites. I get around it by enlarging the thread I'm reading to block them out but that only lasts as long as one page worth.

I thought it had picked up my back/shoulder issues which was wh I was being targeted.
I find that better than the dead whale or something on a beach for some sort of charity. I haven't looked at that long enough to find out what it's about...

I shouldn't moan really. A few weeks ago I couldn't post at all as the site kept freezing. A few horrible ads I can put up with now I can scroll past them.

I've just had (on PC) clicked on "last page" and it came up with a page from "wellback" or something. Looks like a scam page anyway.

Could you please disconnect from any internet or cellular service, then click or tap the ad. The ad will attempt to open in a browser window, but because there's no service it will not load. However, the click string will be exposed in the URL - please copy and paste this on this thread. We use that to find out who the advertiser is.
