iPhone app crashing?

Happened a couple of times today.

Mines not crashing but every time I open the app it stops my music playing and seems to think that music/sound is coming from the Mumsnet app

Hmm.

Mine just suddenly fades to black screen. So suddenly that it sort of made me jump!

It then goes back to my home screen. Was wondering if my phone or the app. Not sure.

That's started happening to me, too @LionsTeeth

@tobee does anything in particular trigger this? Is it when you're opening something in particular, or just scrolling through a thread?

Hi @LionsTeeth I'm struggling to reproduce the app pausing your audio. Had you been doing something in particular to trigger it? Did watching videos through the app pause audio?

Hi! I haven't been on mumsnet on my phone app today (Friday) so will check tomorrow.

Hi @AnyaMumsnet this hasn't happened again over the weekend so I can't say what when it was occurring; if it followed any pattern. Maybe there was a glitch with my phone? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just checked about the sound thing that @LionsTeeth and I were experiencing and that seems fine now!

Nope I wasn't watching videos on the app, just opened it up and it happened straight away. I was listening on an iPhone 8 to the podcasts app if that makes a difference.

@tobee was there anything that triggered the crash? Where were you in the app when it happened? Thanks!

I'm not sure where I was, unfortunately. I didn't notice any pattern to the crashing. Because it happens sporadically it's hard to tell. I thought it had stopped but then happened again so I posted. I'd need to note down what happened immediately if it happens again.

I see there's a new update for the app; might make a difference. Not happened since 3rd December.

Happens when I'm trying to listen to absolute 80's radio app and use mn app simultaneously.,

App keeps freezing or not loading & saying 'you have no internet connection' yes I do! Everything else is working!
