Images not visible?

Hello, new here. Been reading through some sections and a few of the posts seem to have a picture included but its greyed out so I can't see it. I am logged in but not sure if something in my own settings is incorrect or if this is something that just happens due to software people use to post the pics?

On this first link I can't see any of the images just those strange little marks that remind me of ‘no entry’ signs: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/home_decoration_pictures/3425708-this-fireplace

On this link I can see some of the images but not others, and the same marks on the ones I can’t see:

Is it something in my settings or something the uploader is doing/using?

Are you on desktop or mobile? And could you also tell us which service provider you're using? The pics look fine at this end. It might be something to do with your own settings, but we'll look into it a bit more and just check it's nothing at our end.
