...can we have an "I know I'm not being unreasonable, but am I being a bit snobby?" topic please.

while I'm here I suspect I may need a "who me?" smiley (you know - a whistly one) for when people start accusing me of shit stirring on this thread.

the best way to reduce the number f threads in that topic is to close it.....or AIBU?

moo · 15/06/2007 19:51

What we really need is a "I may well be being unreaonable but I do not wish to be told that - so just agree with me, please" topic.

moo · 15/06/2007 19:53

Or a "PMT - I know I'm being unreasonable and I don't farking care!" topic.

FlossALump · 15/06/2007 19:54

'i'm not being unreasonable and if you disagree with me then YABU'.

Tamum · 15/06/2007 19:55

Oh we could get tech to set it up so that it is only possible to answer yes or no, and then the person who started the thread could just count them up at the end and decide.

CuttingCod · 15/06/2007 19:55

mn hq like it
depite the fact any resonabel and veteran mner hates them

hello tamum

Blandmum · 15/06/2007 19:56

I have a 'poll' facility in my message board, This cannot be beyond the ability of the Saintly Tech!

Tamum · 15/06/2007 19:56

Hello, got your hotel sorted out yet?

CuttingCod · 15/06/2007 19:58

no god its ££ thatw eek cos of festival
i am trying ot get out of it

Tamum · 15/06/2007 20:02

I did wonder- August not good really.

hana · 15/06/2007 20:06

a lot of the time isn't it just attention seeking? waffling on about nothing really ?

musicianswidowAKAmumofmonsters · 15/06/2007 20:08

why can that part of the site not be a poll...OP gets to have their say and everyone else answers yes or no

SenoraPostrophe · 15/06/2007 20:28

ha @ "attention seeking"

because none of us do that...!

tamum - it's not the ones which attract yes/no answers that annoy me so much as the ones which make me think "well obviously not, but..."

OP posts:
hana · 15/06/2007 20:30

but maybe in a charley kind of way
some of them are
you have to admit it

Tamum · 15/06/2007 20:31

Oh me too, SP, I just thought that if no-one was able to discuss anything the whole thing might die away. Starve the whole topic of the oxygen of publicity, kind of thing.

Charleesunnysunsun · 15/06/2007 20:34

I find the AIBU's are just a case of.....

'of course im not being unreasonable but i want to moan about something or someone and have people teel me im totaly right.'

Such as..........

Am i being unreasonable in not letting my 10yr old son go clubbing and drinking alcahol untill midnight?

Nobody is going to go

'yes you mean cow let him go.........'

Or is that just me????????

SenoraPostrophe · 15/06/2007 20:38

my 10 yr old goes clubbing.

OP posts:
Charleesunnysunsun · 15/06/2007 20:39

Do they drink alcahol and stay until midnight?????

SenoraPostrophe · 15/06/2007 20:47

no not really, I don't have a 10 yr old. am feeling argumentative tonight.
