Have hidden a board - it threads still showing in Active

So I hid a board following the instructions given by MNHQ on Site Stuff

but I’m still getting threads from the ‘hidden’ board showing up in Active

What am I doing wrong?

Yeah, my first task every time I visit Mumsnet - which isn't often now for this very reason - is to hide all the Feminist Chat threads. Would like to hide the board entirely too. So tiresome.

I'll be interested to see the response. I tried to hide the same board recently and couldn't even find it in the list to hide it!

That's not Active, OP - that's Trending, they're not affected. If you look in Talk > Active you'll see (or rather not see) that the threads are no longer visible.

You've got the 'threads I'm on' page open there not the Active page, and as a PP said the rogue thread is in the trending box not the Active list that comes up when you load that page.

I use Active all the time tbh, rarely go into a particular forum.

Oh, I sort of see - but all Trending is are the most active threads. So not sure why hide a board doesn’t really amount to hide a board.
