Unwanted Pop ups? Virus?

I keep getting these pop ups when I click on threads. This came up when on the thread about high end salon ruining hair. Also got one on the thread about pop ups.

@MNHQ I keep getting them too. Mine was when I clicked on ‘threads I’m on’

Using safari on iPhone.

Me too. Safari on iPhone. Various tabs opening like the pictures attached.

Me too. Have been getting them continuously since last night.

I have this on iPad too. New tabs keep opening. It’s really annoying.

We are aware of this and tech are working on it, we hope to have it fixed soon.

Sorry to drag this thread up, but it's the only related one I could find. I have had a similar experience during the last few days. I'm using the Google Chrome browser on my Android phone. These things keep appearing without any warning. It's definitely this site as I'm not getting this pop up anywhere else.
