Just wondering how MNHQ/Tech are going to corral all of the early Christmas threads without being altered to them in the first place?!

I reported some but got a PM in response saying that actually MN are not going to corral them after all

Whilst we understand where you're coming from, we've had a discussion about this in the office, and we think it's reasonable to be preparing for Christmas now - so we're not going to be routinely moving threads to the Christmas section. We know it's not the same, but you can always hide threads to stop them appearing in Active.

More than two months before the annual event of Christmas it's okay for multiple threads to escape the Christmas topic. But 5 months before the once-in-a-lifetime event of Brexit, nothing is allowed to escape the Brexit topic??
